Miniatures means figure painting, scale models and dioramas. Cooking lives here too. Very different materials, same tendency to fuss over details.
Personal studio / Kamil Dzierzek
Miniatures, scale models and dioramas. Photos and short video. Games, books, films and other culture. Computers, websites and home infrastructure. Cooking. And, professionally, software QA.
01 / Studio
I’m Kamil. I tend to get interested in things by making them, taking them apart or spending far too long on the details.
That can mean repainting a 1:35 part, reframing a photo, rebuilding a small website or trying to work out why a machine is doing something stupid.
For work, I do much the same thing with software: I’m a Senior QA Engineer, which mostly means figuring out how things work, where they break and why.
02 / Selected
Some are finished, some aren’t. These are the ones I want near the top right now.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar
A finished miniature built around cold spectral blues, weathered wood, bone and a few warmer accents.
Self-hosted project
An artist portfolio I built and host on my own VPS, with custom gallery behaviour, contact handling and mail delivery.
Photography / Egypt
A small set from Egypt: columns, carved walls, surviving colour and the kind of scale that makes you keep looking up.
Recipe / 4 servings
Turkey meatballs, wholemeal farfalle and plenty of vegetables in tomato sauce.
03 / Fields
Miniatures means figure painting, scale models and dioramas. Cooking lives here too. Very different materials, same tendency to fuss over details.
Photography and short video. Mostly trips, events and places, with editing kept to what the material actually needs.
Games, books, film, visual culture, places - whatever sticks with me long enough to be worth thinking about.
Computers, hardware, web, self-hosting and home infrastructure. Mostly things I use, build, break and then try to understand.
04 / Work
I’m a Senior QA Engineer. I started in hardware testing in 2014 and eventually ended up in software QA.
Professional / Senior QA Engineer
I’ve worked in hardware testing, process engineering, advanced IT support, operations and, since 2022, software QA. These days most of my time goes into test planning, frontend and backend testing, issue investigation, documentation and working things through with developers, analysts and customers.
Open Work / CV05 / Notes
Things I wrote down because I didn’t want to have the same thought from scratch six months later.
06 / Contact
Email, work stuff, photos and music.
